Mackie to Keynote 2008 Conference

Christopher J. Mackie, Associate Program Officer with the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, has accepted our invitation to give the Keynote Address at the 2008 Conference! He will also lead a follow-up breakout session. Mackie’s responsibilities at the Mellon Foundation include projects that pilot and promote Open Source applications in library services and operations.

Your conference planners hope that this announcement will spur you to send in those breakout/poster/discussion proposals. The deadline is October 1.  Information on how to do so is in a previous posting.
